Mixing is to fully mix various rubber materials and compounding agents in the rubber mixer. The improper addition of the rubber materials during mixing directly affects the quality of the compounding compound, which will lead to uneven dispersion of the compounding agent, scorching, roll off, and overheating. Refining, early vulcanization, frosting, etc., so the order of feeding should be arranged reasonably.

2. Adding order

First mix the plasticized rubber, masterbatch and reclaimed rubber for a period of time and then add the compounding agent. The compounding agent is generally added according to the compounding agent HY4S1J2Y-MXF, which is small in dosage, large in action, and difficult to disperse. The principle of adding after the agent is added.

Since the solid softener is generally slow to disperse, it is directly added to the internal mixer together with the raw rubber during mixing. A small amount of medicine has a very important effect on the rubber compound. It should be added after the raw rubber is added to ensure sufficient mixing time and uniform dispersion, such as activator, accelerator, anti-aging agent, anti-scorching agent, etc., of course, super speed accelerator It should be added later with the vulcanizing agent. The antioxidant is added immediately after the raw rubber to protect the raw rubber.

The dispersion effect of carbon black is the key to ensuring the quality of the rubber compound, and the dispersion of carbon black is related to its own structure. The larger the particle size of carbon black, the lower the structure, the smaller the heat build-up of mixing, the easier it is to mix into the raw rubber, but the more difficult it is to further disperse; the smaller the particle size of carbon black, the higher the degree of structure, the higher the heat build-up of mixing The larger it is, the more difficult it is to mix into the raw rubber, but it is easier to further disperse.

After the carbon black is basically dispersed, the liquid softener is added to facilitate mixing, improve the mixing effect, and shorten the mixing time. The liquid softener must be added after the carbon black, otherwise it will reduce the hardness and shear stress of the rubber compound, make it difficult to disperse the carbon black, increase agglomeration, and reduce the physical and mechanical properties of the rubber compound. The addition time of the liquid softener can be determined by the partition coefficient K.

The vulcanizing agent and overspeed accelerator must be added after cooling the rubber material on the tablet press, otherwise it is easy to cause scorching and blooming. The order of feeding has a great influence on the quality of the rubber compound. To produce rubber products with an internal mixer, the order of feeding must be reasonably arranged to achieve the best quality of the rubber compound.
